Infant ECA Programmes
Dear TES parents,

We are delighted to propose to you a new range of activities. These programmes are designed to provide new opportunities for additional skills development and learning in the fields of art, music, sport, culture and dance.

The ECA Programme is designed to meet the interests of Infant Section students of approximately 5 to 7 years of age, namely :
German Section : Flex0
British Section : Years 1 and 2
French Section : Maternelle GS et CP

ECA - 3:10 pm to 4:10 pm.

For most of the Infant ECA programmes (excepted Ballet and Jazz dance ECAs) parents DO NOT need to pick up their child after school. Class Learning assistants will bring the student to the ECA meeting point (in front of the Infant hall) at 3pm after school finishes. Students will be supervised by ECA teachers/assistants and brought to the activity classroom.

Pick up: You must pick up your child promptly after the activity FROM THE SCHOOL CAFETERIA. (excepted Ballet and Jazz dance ECAs)

“ECA” finishes at 4.10pm and parents are kindly asked to assist staff by arranging for the PROMPT collection of their child NO LATER THAN 4:15pm. Regular ‘late pick-ups’ or continued ‘misbehavior’ may result in a child being asked to withdraw from the after school clubs programme with the loss of the fee.

Bus: It is the parent’s responsibility to check times and availability of a place on your bus route before registering and paying for an ECA. Enquiries should be addressed to the Transport Supervisor,

There are a wide variety of activities on offer as part of ECA Programme as a whole, from Reception through to Year 2.
Many of these activities are very popular and consequently over-subscribed. We will try to ensure that each participant has a chance to take part in the activities they are interested in, however this may not always be possible and in such cases we hope you will understand we will always make our best efforts to find a satisfactory result for everyone, taking into consideration the range and type of programmes suitable and available for each child.

There is no limit on the number of programmes your child may sign up for, but it may be necessary to ask you to prioritise these in the case of oversubscription.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,

Celine Hsu
