The rapid development of TES’ campus buildings and infrastructure has been due, in large part, to the generous donations received from local or international companies and individuals. Over the past decade or so, these funds have allowed TES to construct purpose-built facilities at both the Secondary campus in Yang Ming Shan, including Phase 1 in 1998 and Phase 2 in 2002, and the more recent Primary campus at Wen Lin Road, completed in 2007.

TES is a non-profit Foundation and any surplus generated in its operational budget each year is re-invested in the school for the benefit of the students. The school’s main source of income is from parents’ tuition and capital fees. Despite embarking on ambitious and costly building projects which have been necessary to accommodate the growth in student enrolment, the Governors and management of TES constantly strive to keep the fee levels as reasonable as possible.  

With the generous on-going financial support through donations from various benefactors, TES is able to ease the financial burden of its loan facility for capital projects as well as developing and enhancing first rate and state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities for the students. 

All donations to TES can be tax-deductible, with conditions met in accordance with the ROC Income Tax Act. TES welcomes donations of any size at any time of the year and recognizes the generosity of its donors through a recognition programme which includes acknowledgments in the TES newsletter, Yearbook and website. For larger donations over NT$1 million, it is possible to secure naming rights for rooms or facilities within the campuses.
