At the Taipei European School (TES), the three campuses each have their own Learning Resource Centres (LRCs) run by trained library assistants and a Manager of Learning Resources. The LRCs play an important role in supporting the information literacy needs of the school community and encouraging life-long learning skills. Each LRC offers a current and dynamic student-centred information service with resources that are appropriate for the age range of students using them.

The LRCs have an extensive collection of books, magazines and audio-visual resources that reflect the cultural diversity of the school. They all have collections of resources in English, French, German and Chinese. They also facilitate the school's access to a comprehensive selection of online databases, including EBSCO , Grove Music and Grove Art . ( These are available on-campus TES access only, if you are accessing from home - off-campus - you will need to contact the LRC Manager for login details .) This allows our students and teachers to have access to current information that complements the curriculum.
