The Taipei European School encompasses 4 distinct sections ¡V German, British, French & High School. However, it is only the British Section that makes wearing uniforms compulsory.
Traditionally British schools (and many international schools) ask their students to wear uniforms and the reasons may vary, from promoting a sense of community belonging or possibly in a desire to maintain discipline. Our uniform is smart, comfortable and practical.
Equally, the French and Germans do not ask their students to wear a uniform as they esteem that each individual has the right to express himself in the way that best suits his personality.
Nevertheless, it is compulsory for everyone to wear the school sports kit during PE lessons and of course when representing the school in sporting events. The TES Uniform opening hours as well as a list of clothes and prices are included here.
